I'm one of those people who will give any kind of help to anybody, no matter how absurd or difficult it is,as long as it doesn't violate legal boundaries. It's simply my nature.
Earlier today, a girl had to take a quiz she missed, and begged for my help. I felt guilty enough to start telling her the answers, and my English teacher walked by and took the test, and threw it in the garbage. She looked disappointed, and after class, I was told to stay.
She asked me why I had helped her cheat, and I told her, it's my nature to help people and assist them (Difficult life, affected personality and my nature.) She sighed, and told me, what I think she should do as punishment.
I'm one of those students who just sit there silently and do work, and that must have helped. I flat-out told here, detention. She then left me off the hook, and said "Are you really just going to help someone who just leaves and runs out the class room when the bell rings, and leave you here."I told her, "It's just me."
I feel rather nervous, as I was not punished, but I have to stop letting people cheat on me. Despite doing work, my grades remain in the C's because of stress, and I can't chance being caught giving people answers. Should I talk to my counseler? Thanks.
