My definition of patriotism is volunteering to fight for my country and all the idiots in it even when tell me what I'm doing is wrong. We are the US of A and we really need to start acting like it. We're slowly going the way of France. We are superior as a nation, so what is wrong with celebrating that fact and quit apologizing for torturing terrorists and such. Here's a quote for you: If hooking up a terrorist to a car battery and shocking him until he pees himself saves even one American life, then I have only one question, which wire is positive and which is negative? Spoken by a Texas politician (so I read), but whoever said it is a hero in my book. Quit trying to get the rest of the country to go along with your "If we lay down our guns and say sorry, all our enemies will leave us alone" leftist mentality. We aren't buying it. When you want to see real patriotism, come to Iraq or Afghanistan and put on a helmet and vest and get a gun and actually DO something for your country.
