2 Harry Potter q's: is Hogwarts really in Scotland & what does JKR think of the Quidditch World Cup (muggles)?

~in the books, is Hogwarts really in Scotland?

Boquet, Tim. "J.K. Rowling: The Wizard Behind Harry Potter," Reader's Digest, December 2000

"...at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This is housed in a remote Scottish castle..."

and what does JKR think of the college Quidditch Cup (held at Middlebury College) and teams (of muggles) that have popped up all over the place?

Any answer appreciated.

It was never specified in the books, but J. K. Rowling has mentioned it in her interviews that Hogwarts really is in Scotland.

I think JKR knows about the college Quidditch Cup, but I don't know her thoughts on it.
