1) What happens to Marianne at Cleveland? What factors contribute to this occurrence?

2) How does Mrs. Dashwood feel about Colonel Brandon? What seems to have caused her to feel this way?

1) In Cleveland, Marianne does her own homework rather than trying to get some random person on the internet to do it for her. The factors that influenced her the most were probably those instilled by her parents who taught her to be a hard working and honest.

2) Mrs. Dashwood feels that the Colonel is lazy for considering watching the movie rather than reading the book itself. She thinks Cliffs notes is a real cop out as well. She feels this way because she had to read the book herself when she was in school.
