What's wrong with my BELL SATELLITE RECEIVER?!?

I purchased a brand new Bell satellite receiver 3 days ago..I already have 2 other working receivers set up in 2 other rooms in my house..

When I tried to hook up my 3rd Receiver..I hooked a Satellite splitter up to the main cable coming from the satellite..then plugged a cable running to my basement receiver and another cable to my new receiver which is in my bedroom..into the OUT part of the splitter

The receiver in my basement is working perfect..but the receiver in my bedroom is only picking up certain channels!

I brought my receiver down into my basement and hooked it up there..and it works perfect..so I know it's not the receiver that's faulty..And I replaced the splitter and double checked the wiring..I made sure I purchased satellite wiring and it's not the cheap stuff!

I've called Bell for help..but they just keep taking me through the same trouble shooting..and then when nothing works they tell me I will have to have a technician come in and it costs $80!! Which is ridiculous because I just paid $100 for the receiver..and the other receiver which is running from the same splitter and satellite wiring from outside is working fine!! HELP!!

Problem is signal loss, due to the splitter (ohmz). Unlike traditional cable satellite receivers must be connected directly to the dish. Bell will have to come and install a direct line for you.
