P.S. I don't want a bad-vamp-story tho, i like vamps and don't read books in which they are described as soulless bloodsuckers.

The Vampire Lestat. Anne Rice. All of the Vampire Chronicles.

I also enjoyed "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova.

I actually haven't read it yet (although I've read another book by this author years ago and I seem to recall it being decent), but I'd recommend Gothique by Kyle Marffin. I know it's supposed to take place in a goth club and it involves vampires, although beyond that I don't know how accurately it describes the goth subculture.
