What is the significance of this Dorian Gray quote by Oscar Wilde?

"The only artists I have ever known who are personally delightful are bad artists. Good artists exist simply in what they make, and consequently are perfectly uninteresting in what they are," (Wilde 55). What is the significance to this quote in relation to the idea that Lord Henry didn't care much for art.

Wilde liked artists who had no pretensions, they were more open but good artists were self obsessed.Lord Henry did not care for artists or their particular genre but did care about his collection and his standing.
I know nothing about art but I know what I like.
