Having a hard time trying to find the meaning of the poem...?

Anne Sexton in the first stanza says how she has many friends (she lists them by name) who help support her through her bad times. (Anne suffered from serious mental problems throughout her life).

In the second verse Anne explains how she repays her friends by allowing them to care for her (the artery of my soul has been severed/
and soul is spurting out upon them) and also by allowing them to see how she truly truly loves God (still God is filling me).

Apart from these three ideas (two really, one in each stanza) Anne just gives copious examples of what she means.

Anne Sexton was a career invalid who made a vocation out of her misery. A dreadful old woman who was no more a poet than Ken Ham is.
