You need to be getting regular prenatal care and be honest with your midwife or doctor abut the risks you have taken. They need to know if there are additional developmental tests they should look out for. Hopefully you are exercising, eating right and taking prenatal vitamins.

Weed is not safe during pregnancy. I went to high school with a girl that smoked early on, not knowing that she was pregnant. Her baby was born with it's intestines not closed in its belly. It had to have emergency surgery right after delivery. I heard later on that the poor guy was also mentally retarded.

You're baby will be fine. That doesn't mean you should continue to smoke pot. Just keep in mind that your baby is getting a Very Very hefty dose of a drug that slows sensories and it's heartbeat. Plus your baby is very likely to be a pothead when it grows up. Polls show unborn babies exposed to recreational drugs have a higher rate of addiction to those very drugs during adolescent years.

Did you know you were pregnant? If so this is highly irresponsible.

I have known people to smoke to weed whilst they are pregnant and the baby is okay, but its all luck of the drawer, you are increasing the possibility of SOOOO many health risks!

The baby will be fine, now. Just no more smoking or drinking until the baby is out. And then, just maybe stop doing any of that afterwards and become a responsible adult. I mean, you would have a child, you can't act like one yourself.

You should look up the warnings of marijuana use during pregnancy, I hope this keeps you from doing it again. Do not be selfish and do it again. I have friends that did during their entire pregnancy and one went into labor early, a couple of them now have kids with learning disability's and it should not be something you want to risk by doing it anymore.

the girls like you bother me.
i am 16 and have a 3 month old son.
its NOT easy and for them girls that think its cute.., ha ha. It looks horrible and you WILL be judged for the rest of your life.

about you doing drugs, IF YOU KNEW YOU WERE PREGNANT, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU SMOKE?

if you didnt know you were pregnant, you should of thought about opening your legs and smoking before you ever had sex.

i hope you baby is okay.
    i pray to god.

Theres no telling Because The effects of pot cant really be seen until your child is About 4-8 years old.

I smoked Before i found out i was pregnant (before 6 weeks) and Freaked out about it.

I did some research and Talked to my Doctor though and They did a Study on Jamaican Women Who Smoked while Pregnant and The Tests Showed that The Babies of Mothers Who DID smoke had a Higher Developmental Score at 8 months of Age Than The Babies of Mothers Who DIDNT smoke.

I was Amazed too when i read it.

My best friend Also Smoked her entire Pregnancy and Even Took a Few Pills. ( I didnt agree with It) And Her son is Fine at 1 years old.
She did Have less fetal movement during her pregnancy (because the baby was probably stoned) But thats about all.

I dont recommend you do it though! I Havent smoked at all since i found out i was pregnant and You should try to do the same.

Your baby Will be fine. Just dont do it anymore.

Why in the heck would you do that? Messing with drugs whilst being pregnant can have serious effects on your baby.

You can also have your baby taken away from you if it has traces of drugs in its system after being born.

Your baby will be fine. I did a research paper on marijuana and it is said to be the safest drugs with no deaths on file and woman who smoke pot while pregnant have fewer risks than woman who smoke cigs. But it is illegal and you shouldn't smoke anymore or they could take the baby away. Do real research on pot. The government makes it out to be horrible but the real FACTS are what you need to worry about.

it's not a good idea to smoke anything while pregnant..let alone Pot..but I think if you have only smoked it twice and you don't smoke again..on this occasion your baby will be fine..When I was at college one of the girls was pregnant and smoked pot all the time..it is really irresponsible and stupid..but she was lucky and the baby was alright..(well from what they could tell..the affects can rear there ugly heads later when the child is older)..smoking anything increases the risk of preterm labour , misscarrage, still births and if baby is born on time and alive..then they are more prone to SIDS..(sudden infant death syndrome), asthma, broncilitus, Glue ear and all other not great complications..If I were you..I would not smoke anything again..I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant..and haven't smoked since..good luck.

your baby should be fine but if you were a dude i'd totally wanna kick you in the nuts for doing something like that without knowing the consequences to your unborn child first.
