Budgie help please !! URGENT!!?

Question

this morning i was writing something with a permanent texta and my budgie jumped off my shoulder and bit the tip off it there was some on his tongue and abit on his beak i got water and he drank lots and he is still acting normall but i dont know what to do i lost a budgie about a week ago of metal poising and i cant let this one die ihe is only 6months old help please !! :(

I highly doubt that permanent marker has lead in it (which would also be known as metal-poisoning). Eventually, the beak will get worn down to where the marker wouldn't show. I really don't think there's anything to worry about on this one. If you notice any abnormal behavior, loss of appetite, drinking/pooping less, etc....then take it to the vet.

take him to the vet ergent, if perminent marker is bad for humans its probably even worse for parakeets, let the vet take care of him

Give your bird gatorade. It has electrolytes in it. I always keep a bottle for emergencies.

its going to be find, it will heal by it self. maybe it wasnt his tongue on the beak, it might have been something else. if ur bird is active (talking jumping around, eating ect.) nothing happend. if it doesnt talk and he looks with his head down ALL day than take him to a vet..
