What is the hardest thing about being a medical coder to you?

I'm in school learning how to do medical billing and coding. The externship I'll be doing is in two months.

As a medical coding student I would have to say the hardest thing is relearning. What I mean is that the medical field is always changing and with that the ICD codes and CPT codes change as well, whether they are revised, removed, or just changed altogether. The biggest example I can think of is the up-coming of ICD-10. It is a big change for the current ICD-9.

I didn't know that there's going to be an ICD-10.
