    yes, you are allowed to make a few gallons of liquor/year for your own consumption.

    Moonshine is illegal to make and possess in Kentucky! It's illegal to make in every state. Every state requires you to have a distilling license in order to make any spirit. In fact, this is not a state law, it's federal...hence the ATF! Even with a distilling license, you cannot make moonshine.

    You can make beer and wine at home, but that is ALL!



    EDIT: I guess all you have to do is Google moonshine. Or make it and get caught. I wonder why they make moonshine in the woods...deep in the woods. I wonder why they make moonshine where they won't be seen. I wonder why the government spends $$$ on searching for moonshine distills...not because they are bored.
