Should I use this in my story or not?

I`m writing one other story at the moment. But, this one is about a girl from Kenova, West Virginia. She only has one friend because she doesn`t fit into any of the cliques. She refers to herself as a "Lone Wolf". One night of her sophomore year she throws a message in a bottle into the Ohio River like she and her friend Jessica did as a kids. A Romanian boy later finds it and writes her back. They form a bond through their letters. But, I don`t want a regular Romance or Teen Romance. Like my main girl I`m a lover of the paranormal. I was thinking of making the guy a part of a powerful and feared coven and the girl a Wiccan. But, I want dark forces to endanger the girls life. How can I add to this idea? What should I do?

ooh:) me likey:) i would make the guy possessed by demons... but only sometimes... like he only acts weird some times... but it would be a dark force and DEFIANTLY be paranormal:) hope this helps:)... if not a demon... NO WAIT! He should be hyper sensitive and have ghosts follow him every where and it kind of makes him crazy! some of the ghosts might want to hurt the girl! hope this helps:)

How would it get to Romania? Or do you just mean that the boy was Romanian? BTW, the whole idea, tho, is good, but could use some patching up. Maybe (and this is nothing to do with the patching up) maybe a witch hunter or something comes across the letter in the bottle and tries to track her down?

Maybe he could give her some exclusive information and because she knows too much, someone comes after her.
