Who are the top 5 teams of all time that you've seen?

1a) 1986 Celtics(Gonna get alot of hate, my first year watching basketball now look back they were so dominant and played in better competition than the Bulls think about it they had Bird, Parish, Mchale 3 HOF Dennis Johnson(DPOY), Bill Walton(Former MVP), Ainge, Wedman was great that year, and besides them many more deep bench veterans/players

1b) 1996 Bulls(Most wins all time, played in weaker era but still more competitive than many give credit)

3) 1987 Lakers(I think Kareem, Magic, Worthy McAdoo(4 HOF), Byron Scott, Wilkins(2 All stars), Cooper(DPOY), Rambis Kupchak, Lester need I say more?)

4) 1989 Pistons(Known for being the "Bad Boys", this tough and tumble Detroit team finally managed to get over the hump this season after being close the previous two seasons. They had Isiah, Dumar, Rodman, Laimbeer)

5) 2001 Lakers, many would put the 2000 Lakers but they were clutch; winning 24 of their last 25 games. Sweeping every playoff series except the finals where they went 4-1


BTW- I did not include the other MJ Bulls with Rodman because they were basically the same team, also I could not include the Bill Russell Celts, Dr. J 76ers, Wilt Lakers cuz I wasnt born

If I have any mistakes on players on that team, sorry im basing this on memory

I've only been watching since the 90's so my list will be more narrow.

1. 1996 Chicago Bulls- 72-10 and in my opinion the best NBA team of All-Time. I think if you put this team up against another team in a 7 game series, the G.O.A.T. in my opinion Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen,and the rest of the squad would win. Most wins of any team in NBA history

2. 2008 Boston Celtics- great all around team, played with heart and leadership and great team work with their Big 3 of Ray Allen,Paul Pierce,and Kevin Garnett. Best defensive team in the NBA that year and most complete.

3. 2002 Los Angeles Lakers- went 15-1 during the playoffs and produced their last great dynasty lead by a dominant Shaquille O'Neal and a young budding star Kobe Bryant. Solid role players like Rober Horry contributed.

4. 1997 Utah Jazz- I know they did not win an NBA Championship but were a solid squad with Hall Of Famers like Karl Malone and John Stockton with the help of players suck as Jeff Hornacek and Byron Russell. Had it not been for the Bulls they would've won 2 consecutive titles and been considered one of the all-time great teams

5. 1999 San Antonio Spurs- one of the best defensive teams in our era. Have players that can get the job done with Duncan and David Robinson inside. Had many solid role players and this was the start of their dynasty.
