When you are citing the name of a book in your text, are you supposed to underline it or italicize it?

do I underline, italicize, or put quotation marks around The Woman Warrior?

I'm assuming that you're using MLA format in your paper.

Titles of books are underlined. Titles of short stories should be in quotation marks.
