The root meaning of the name Muhammad is "praise". Other names in Arabic with the same root meaning are Mahmud, Ahmed, Hamid and al-Hamid,

The name Muhammad means "Praiseworthy" and occurs four times in the Koran. The Koran addresses Muhammad in the second person not by his name but by the appellations prophet, messenger, servant of God (‘abd), announcer (bashir), warner (nathir), reminder (mudhakkir), witness (shahid), bearer of good tidings (mubashshir), one who calls [unto God] and the light-giving lamp (siraj munir).

Please put this in the Ramadan section. There are a lot of Muslims there. But I know of one name for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). He is known as "The Comforter".
