What does error 1904 mean and how do I make it go away?

I’m trying to install Macromedia Flashplayer, and I keep getting this message: "Error 1904. Module c:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash… failed to register. HRESULT – 2147220473." It gives me the option to cancel, retry, or ignore. I’ve tried all these options and none of them work. The installation still fails. Is there something I’ve done wrong here?

It doesn’t look like there’s anything you’ve done wrong. Since it didn’t go ahead and install Flashplayer when you clicked "Ignore," it’s safe to say that your computer is having a corrupted file issue.
