My favorite book is Fahrenheit 451. It is a futuristic novel, and is short.
I think it is great.
A Farewell to Arms is about war.
The Awakening is difficult to read if you are 15 and younger.
The Color Purple is great, it isn't too long.
Look Homeward, Angel is good--sad.

All of the books on the list are good.

The color purple is really good.
Even though i havent read this particular tittle a Farewell to Arms, Ernest Hemmingway is a really good writer and very easy to understand so i would try that one out too!

Fahrenheit 451 was good, but the story is better than the writing. Don't go into it expecting something amazing, but it does give you something to think about.
