English class help please!!?

Hi, in my english class we read "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin and we have this homework to write a story that is in an hour. so can anyone please give me ideas what i should write about, it needs to be a story in an hour. Thank you so much!!!

How about a good deed? Perhaps you see a neighbor, a lonely old man on his porch, all alone since his wife died last week. First you watch him from afar and then you, during the course of the hour, do something to lift his spirits. Maybe you see something of his that needs repair and you fix it. Perhaps you see that he looks hungry and you fix a meal for him. When you go about your deed and spend some time with him you come to know more about him (perhaps he was a WWII veteran) and he inspires you with his stories and gives you more purpose to your life, all within an hour. This sort of stuff happens in real life, every single day. It can be magical.

You locked your keys in the car and can't call a locksmith (phone's in there, too or you don't have one with you). You try using a coat hanger you find on the side of the road and a bunch of other things and finally smash the window out, saying over and over under your breath "unlocked! unlocked! unlocked!" Then a tow truck comes along and runs over you.

You're dealing with real time here, so you need to choose something that could happen in an hour but still have a point. You could write about something that happens in one class period. (A lot could happen. What if someone in the class was disturbed and brought something dangerous to class?) A visit to a mall could take an hour. What might happen there? You could meet someone. An hour can go quickly or it can go slowly. Just make sure you choose something real. Good luck!
