Has anyone ever read the awakening by kate chopin?

hi everyone. im horrible at reading and being anyalitical and i had to read the awakening for my english class and i am so confused about everything. can someone give me a detailed summary of it? i really dont know whts going on at all.

Edna Pontellier is not happy in her marriage to Robert. She is an unconventional, independent woman who does not fit in with Robert's conventional views about social relations and children. She is instead attracted to bohemian artist types--other men. She has an affair with Alcée, unconsciously abetted by her friend Mme. Reisz, who is as unconventional as she is. When Robert returns from a business trip to Mexico, things are better and worse. She wants to remake her marriage to Robert, to whom she feels some allegiance and love, but he is still bound by conventions. However, she has become sexually awakened and even more her own person. She is trapped. She walks into the sea as an escape, presumably a suicide.
