Cute hairstyles for homecoming?

Question

Homecoming is soon and i dont know what to do with my hair:/ i have brown hair and it goes a little past my shoulders. i tried to scrunch it with gel and mousse because i seen girls do that and it looks really cute but when i tried it it didnt work. my hair is too heavy. so anyone know any cute ideas? pictures would be great!! thanks:))

Make a ballerina bun in the back of your head leaving a few pieces in the front to frame your face. You can also leave a few pieces loose in the back. Don't tie it very tight but make sure it will stay. (You can put a little hairspray or spray gel in if you want but don't overdo, or it will look crunchy and hard.) Then put a sparkly barrette resting on top of the bun. Looks really cute, it's easy to do, and can be done wet or dry, straight or curly, short or long. You can also put it as high or low as you want (for a more formal look try tying it at the nape of your neck.) Have a great time! Don't worry about your hair. (Although, I totally understand you want it to look just right!)
