Hi Chrissy,
What a great girlfriend you are:-) You've got a difficult problem to deal with, you've talked to him about it, and now you're trying to help solve it. That's fantastic, he's a lucky guy.
There is a possibility that if you two are a. . . err. . . . 'good fit', then it may be that he has a sensitive head. That's ok. It may be that he's really really into you and gets very excited, that's ok too.
There are some things that you can do together which will probably help.
First, he has to recognise when he is getting 'close', all men can feel it, it's a tingling at the base, and everything lifts and tightens slightly. Talk to him about making a scale from one to ten; one meaning soft, and ten meaning "pass the tissues". Spend lots of time playing and moving him from one to five, then let him relax down to about two. Play again until he's at about eight and let him relax again to three or four. Keep playing and moving him up and down the scale until he really really can't hold off any longer. You'll need to practise this for a couple of weeks or more. Over a period of time you will notice that the length of time gets longer. Have fun, turn it into a contest, give him a prize if he beats his own record. Don't forget yourself either, remember, while he's relaxing back down, he could be putting his time to good use by entertaining you. Fair's fair.
The reason this method works is that testosterone, the hormone that drives an er****on is released by the body in waves. As the waves diminish, (not completely, don't worry), the shaft is not quite so engorged by each wave which reduces the amount of blood, which in turn reduces the sensitivity of the head and glands. This will give him the chance to learn to hold back just a little more each time you play, and eventually he'll be able to hold back naturally without really concentrating very hard,
Another method is to exercise the PC muscle similar to a kegel or pelic floor excercise that women do following child birth. The PC muscle is the small muscle under the base and you can feel it pumping when he's at ten. There are lots of guides on the net to explain how to do them. If he's prepared to practise them, they really do work wonders. I know, because I still do mine :-)
Good luck, and have fun.
