Is it better to hook up my home theatre system to the tv audio or directly to my PS3 and PVR?

some ppl say just go directly to the tv...others say no, hook up the reciever to ur ps3/bell pvr. it seems easier to hook it up to just the tv, cuz then there is only one cable i need to run. but i dont want a sound delay... what do you suggest i do? will i 100% get a delay for sound if i go thu my tv to my receiver?

You should connect optical cable directly from your devices to receiver for true surround sound and avoid the sound delay.
