    secret life of bees was really really good! so was my sisters keeper! and into the wild was AMAZINGG!! idk how mych you(a guy) would like the first 2 though lol

    Read "My Sister's Keeper". You're a guy, but there are some main characters who are guys too. About a good chunk of the story is written from a male's perspective.

    Not sure on nonfiction but in fiction its definitely between For Whom the Bell Tolls and Sirens of Titan, for me.

    I read Having Our Say in the 10th grade and loved it. It is an easy read and very interesting to see their perspective on things.
