Battle Of The Defensive Players Of The Year?

Rather bland question; but I'm running low. I've compiled two teams using Defensive Player Of The Year Winners; base on it what you may, and give me a detailed answer of the winner, possible score, etc.

Team #1

G - Alvin Robertson (1x)
G - Michael Jordan (1x)
F - Ron Artest (1x)
F - Ben Wallace (4x)
C - Alonzo Mourning (2x)

VERSUS

G - Gary Payton (1x)
G - Michael Cooper (1x)
F - Dennis Rodman (2x)
F - Dikembe Mutombo (4x)
C - Hakeem Olajuwon (2x)

Are you asking who would win a game or who is a better defensive team?

EDIT - TEAM 2 WOULD WIN FOR SURE. WHERE IS MICHAEL GETTING SCORING HELP FROM. I DON'T LIKE TEAM 1'S CHEMISTRY.

I THINK TEAM 2 BLENDS MUCH BETTER TOGETHER.

team 1 is faster and more offensive
    G - Alvin Robertson (1x)
    G - Michael Jordan (1x)
    F - Ron Artest (1x)
    F - Ben Wallace (4x)
    C - Alonzo Mourning (2x)

team 2 is more of a defensive and get stops team

    G - Gary Payton (1x)
    G - Michael Cooper (1x)
    F - Dennis Rodman (2x)
    F - Dikembe Mutombo (4x)
    C - Hakeem Olajuwon (2x)

overall team 1 would win with more offensive threat but team 2 forwards are better with the exception of artest

team one....they have MJ, quicker perimeter defenders, and have higher basketball IQ than team 2...

i know this is kind of a random prediction...but look for Jamario Moon to soon be one of the best defenders in the league

I tink Team 2 is a better defensive team.
Rodman,Mutombo and Olajuwon were one of the greatest post presences ever while copper was a solid defender and payton was the greatest defenisve PG.

As for who will win the game i have to go with team 1...

Team 2, Dennis Rodman would kill Ron Artest.

It depends if Coop can lock up MJ, if he does game over.

Assuming all of these players are in their primes, I'm choosing Team #1. Payton and Cooper aren't physical enought to deal with Jordan, so that means Rodman would probably guard him. If that happens, Artest is going to punish Cooper on the block. Alvin Robertson and Gary Payton will cancel each other out because they were basically the same type of player, though GP was more offensive minded. Mutombo and Wallace will cancel each other out as well. Both are shot blockers and rebounders with limited offensive skill sets. That leaves us to Zo and The Dream. I give the edge to Hakeem because of his scoring ability, but in his prime, he's still not as strong and physical as Zo, so that will limit his point production. So even with Rodman guarding Mike, I'll still give him 26 and Artest will pick up the slack on Cooper, scoring about 22. I'll also give Zo 18 against Hakeem, but because he will have to leave his man to help Cooper with Ron Ron. The only person I see on the other team getting 20 plus is Olajuwon, so I think Team 1 wins by at least 10.
