Can anyone help me with photo exhibit on women's alienation from society?

I have to make a photo exhibit for my honors english class on the main theme of the book "Surfacing" by Margaret Atwood, which is women's alienation from society. I need to capture this theme in a series of photos, I think. I have never made a photo exhibit before so any hints on that would be welcome too. I am trying to think of interesting things I could take pictures of to include in my exhibit. ANY help would be highly appreciated.

Yes.

Take all the incidents in the book but instead of using women in the pictures use men. Your point will be to show how it is now men that are being alienated by society and it will be a good contrary and unique presentation. It will also show a deep understanding of the theme since you not only must understand the situations expressed but you must be able to find the same ways that men are alienated. You will probably be able to see the situations better if you try reversing it using men anyways. A different and revealing approach.

If she is gender neutral she will love it. If she is a feminist she will hate it.
