Can anyone help me with ideas for photo exhibit on women's alienation from society?

I have to make a photo exhibit for my honors english class on the main theme of the book "Surfacing" by Margaret Atwood, which is women's alienation from society. I need to capture this theme in a series of photos, I think. I have never made a photo exhibit before so any hints on that would be welcome too. I am trying to think of interesting things I could take pictures of to include in my exhibit. ANY help would be highly appreciated.

photo of a woman in a crowd but there's a lot of space around her (to reflect how she feels). photo of a woman on a bench in a park (lots of people there too) while reading some mushy romantic book (to reflect escape from reality). photo of career woman in male power dressing (to reflect copying male behavior to fit in and be accepted). photo of very skinny girl (to reflect women's body image imposed by media).
