Which project management certification is better - PMP or PRINCE2?

In Project Management domain, which certification is better recognized and accepted? PMP or PRINCE2?

It depends where you're located, and a little bit what industry you're in. PMP is much more recognized in the US than PRINCE2 which is more common in the UK. PRINCE2 is also more associated with IT than the PMP.

Both Certification are better and well recognized certification in Project Management field. PMI is a lil older then PRINCE2, so PMP Certification is lil popular among both. But as such there are not much difference among them.

PMP provides some basic and entry level certification also like CAPM, where as PRINCE2 has only 1 certification in which you can get Founder as well as Practitioner skills also. SO there is nothing much difference among both.
