Tone of Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood?

What would you say is the tone (or I suppose there could be more than one) of the novel Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood?
The few that I have been considering are:
critical
reflective
sarcastic

I'm not really sure if these are best though :/

Thanks :)

These are the idiotic questions that people ask about stories yet they couldn't tell you how a story was written, which is where the teaching should begin.

Anything you say about the tone would be correct because it's subjective. If your teacher says you're wrong, defend your opinion.
