Of course most modern books are still under copyright protection, so you will have a difficult time finding free e-book versions.

You probably won't be able to read the whole book for free only.But you can find snippets of the text on Amazon.com and Google Books,it's not the full book since they want you to buy the book after you read portions of it.

If you need to read the book now (instantly),then you can download the e-book for at any e-book seller online.Just do a quick search online for the e-book version and you can find it and you don't need to buy a kindle to read it (even though it would be fun to use one).

Or run down to your local library,see if your library has it and then check it out.

Or your local bookstore and ask for it (it should be under the Gay & Lesbian Fiction section).
