I read The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass the summer before my junior year and although i found it a bit boring i do suggest reading it if you ever hope to be in AP English because according to teachers it may appear in the test some others on here may appear too. The book contains some very shocking pieces of his life but I myself am not really into those type of books.
