Great question.

I love his stuff with the bad seeds and i play that stuff more than any of his other music, so i suppose that's my favourite. But i've always got a soft spot for the Birthday Party. That's the first thing i heard him in. I'm kinda not allowed to play The Birthday Party around my wife as she doesn't appreciate the insanity of it :) As a funny aside, i once thought Nick Cave was stalking me, as wherever i went, there he was. In newsagents, on buses, on the street etc. It was really odd! Grinderman is feckin' cool as well.

BQ: Release The Bats - The Birthday Party

BQ2: I wouldn't say i was a total fan but i do like the stuff i've heard.

Nick Cave and the bad Seeds - Murder Ballads. Everyone should hear this album!!
His collabetrations with PJ Harvey are also noteworthy!! Great combo.

BQ: I heard a few songs from scattered points in his career and never paid attention, then hearing "Where the Wild Roses Grow" (Murder Ballads) really made me sit up and pay closer attention. That whole album is genius!
BQ3: YES!!! How did you know? my fave 'song of the moment' right now is "Ich Hatte Ein Wort" closely followed by "Ich Warte"

i don't know as much Nick Cave as i'd like to...

i love The Birthday Party, though got into them relatively recently, and with The Bad Seeds i only know a couple of albums, including the 'Murder Ballads' so yes, i like his collaborations... i'm big into Current 93, and although i don't have that particular album, i am familiar with his contributions, great stuff :)

i heard the Grinderman album a few times, and yeah it's pretty cool and that's all i know really :s ...need to get on the case 'cos he's ace!

BQ: no idea... i think it may have been 'Stagger Lee' on a mix tape a friend made me years back...
BQ2: absolutely frickin' love them... one of my favourite bands :)

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

    BQ: "The Mercy Seat"
BQ2: I only know "Morning Dew". If someone said their name to me, I wouldn't comprehend. I only recognize it when I see it. I'm not even going to try to say it.
