Why can't I download YouTube videos?

Question

I asked a question a few hours ago about how to download this vid of an old dance recital this girl put up and got like 10 answers with different software things to try, and I tried all of them and it doesn't work. I don't think all of them could be faulty. I tried other videos too and they didnt work. On the YouTube Downloader it says that there is no flash video.

I don't know what that means. Please help, I'd love to get that dance vid!!!

Additional Details

I tried Real Player but couldn't see where you download vids from YouTube on it.

Could I need to add some plug or software to my laptop?

try http://keepvid.com and paste the youtube link. it will give the download link for mp4 and flv.

Once you watch on youtube, its already downloaded in your pc.
Just look at Temporary Internet Files. It is flv format. (flash video) All you have to do is to convert.

But you can download this video by online or by program that will installed in your pc.

Hi, I had the same problem with youtube downloader, it showed no flash video found.

I downloaded ORBIT and it works perfectly fine.
I downloaded the videos from youtube with ORBIT.......I used youtube downloder to convert the video to MPEG though.

download realplayer.Its really easy to use. after you download it just right click on the video and click "download to realplayer" then open up realplayer go to your library and there it is.
