Should I go to San Francisco or Vegas for vacation?

I have been to Vegas, never been to san Fransisco, south park says people are smug in Frisco, is that true ,or are there cool people there like Jack Kerouac?

SF. Better weather, a new destination for you, lots of good restaurants, plenty of activities. Some of the ppl in the financial district might come off as smug (or they are just in a hurry to get to work).Despite the recession, SF had a record year for visitors in 2008 so they must know something.

vegas is great but so is san fran. their are a lot of places u can visit their. since u havent been their before i would choose san fran.

lol go to san francisco.
i live in the sf bay area and i always have fun whenever i go to the city.
and uhm personally i've never seen people around san francisco smell their own farts.

try San Francisco. if you've never been there you don't know what its like. so try it for yourself. and you've already been to Vegas, so why not try something new?

San Fransisco hands down. People in CA are way cool. plus going somewhere new is always more interesting =]

I was just recently in San Francisco and Las Vegas on vacation and i liked SF way better but it really depends on you i mean if you just want to have fun go to vegas but if you want to see an older city do alot of walking up and down the steep streets and maybe see alcatraz the old prision then i say SF.
