We don't get wisdom just by getting information. Just learning about many things does not necessarily make us wise. True wisdom is obtained on our experiences. We cannot get wise just by having someone tell us something. We must experience it ourselves, and when we have experienced it, that's when we are made (hopefully) wiser because of that. :)

wisdom is not something we can get through reading books nor watching documentaries. Some claimed that wisdom comes by through time and age.But the truth of the matter is,I must say that wisdom is accompanied with experiences. To obtain wisdom, you need to see things, meet people, and so much more.As your life progresses, you will learn and understand more and deeper about the true meaning of life itself, and that is what wisdom is all about. All the experiences we've had through our lives shall guide us to the wisdom we seek all these while.I leave the rest to you.......

"You gotta walk that lonesome valley. You gotta walk it by yourself.Nobody else can walk it for you.You gotta walk it by yourself."Words from an old Johnny Cash song.Kinda fits in.I think Proust was little off on his wordage when he says we don't receive wisdom. If you get it by any means, you receive it.I think he meant no one can simply hand it to you. There are some things that must be learned through experience.I think that's what gives old people such a bond. They've experienced a lot and can talk about it.And now I will range a little far afield and say that that is one thing that separates us from most animals. In Blade Runner, the Replicant played by Rutger Hauer could have not shown his nearness to being human any more than what he says at the end as he is dying.(or battery going dead or whatever)---"What becomes of all the memories, now?"

Experience is the greatest teacher. Experience is only gained through doing, not listening. No-one can do the things life offers except yourself and through good or bad choices we gain wisdom.

that means no one will just give us all the things we need to know in life its impossible. no one can hand you down their wisdom. and even if you might get educated at school, you still will never fully get the things you need to know unless you live life and see for yourself.

its like when someone tells you not to do something. and even though you know you shouldnt do it you still do it and learn your self why you shouldnt. you learn more from experience than from a book persay
