Animal Farm was by George Orwell and is based on the Russian Revolution, the story is played out by a variety of animals on a farm. It is a really good book.

George Orwell wrote Animal Farm. If Virginia Woolf wrote a book by the same title, I have never heard of it. I looked up Virginia Woolf books and there was none listed by that title.
