You can find the wording for wedding ceremonies online - for example:

Just google "traditional wedding ceremonies".

I think you have a wonderful opportunity to make your ceremony special and unique! Take the traditional wording and then change it to suit and add in your own vows, poems, etc. If you give a written copy to your friend and ask him to practice so that it is smooth and confident then rehearse with him and your attendants, it will be everything you dreamed! All the best!

ask your married friends if they have copies of the wedding program from their ceremony. some people print out a program for guests that has the flow of the ceremony and lists the wedding party attendants. that will give you an idea of how the ceremony elements fit together. also you can find vows and whatnot on the internet, I mean the part the officiant reads aside from the vows you're writing. you can either print that poem in your wedding program, or choose a close friend to read it during the ceremony for you.
