What are some awesome AV scanners that are free from programs that cost money?

I know of KAV Virus Removel Tool and Mcafee Stinger are there any else?

nothing wrong with computer i am protected with comodo and Avira i just wanted to know

I think you shouldn't install any more security products on your computer .. but i recommend you to try some online scanners just to be sure >>

only if you might be worried that you could be infected now.

then go and get avast for full time protection,
you can not get a better anti virus system for free.
it has many features you will have to pay for in other systems.

don't forget to register or you will only have it for 60 days
by registering you will get a licence for a full year.
just re-register at the end of the year to get another one year licence.

if you feel you would be even safer with a software firewall
then
try this one it's also free and it has no conflicts with avast

i am trying it out myself at the moment so far it seems OK.

going online with no protection is a very stupid thing to do.

side not if you can try out Ubuntu it is just as good as windows but not nearly a third of the viruses with windows DO Not Switch if you do games but if you use windows and well use firefox and microsoft office and that all that stopping you and software you have can be used on something else than try it see if you like it
