Do you have any comments or thoughts on these following sentences..?

The difference is that there aren't many children here today... let's not forget Iraq's children. Technically that bloodbath is called precision bombing. In ordinary language, it's called butchering.

Yep, and what do you feel about those who died in 9-11?

Or do you only care about foreigners? Typical of you hippies.....

Iraq is damn full of kids...asking for Gatorade's and Dorito chips from those outside the wire. I had one kid try to sell me the apple I gave him 15 min earlier.

I agree with the person above, if your nation had to be invaded I can't think of a better behaved invader than the US military. Far from perfect but a damb lot kinder to non-comnbat then most of the leaders that use to run the country.

How many children have the Taliban killed?

I don't get what you are posting...What publication was that quote in? Sounds like I am not reading everything...most likely I wouldn't want to read it all if it was bashing American troops...

Are you pointing out an offensive article because to show how offensive a certain publisher was...if so who published it?

Are you agreeing with that article and want to use a quote to make a statement?

What kind of comments are you looking for anyway? You posted it in a military category. Most likely you will have more Pro-American and Pro-Military responses here. (I would consider my self in that group...I am a military veteran.)

When you see articles like that seldom are they telling the whole truth. They want to tug at your sympathy and make you feel bad for children. What makes you think that the American forces don't care about kids? Many of the troops have kids of their own.

The Taliban and Saddam's regime has killed more of Iraqi's children than the American forces did. Where is the out cry for the radical Islam insurgents killing their own people? Put the blame back where it belongs.

If our enemies were not a bunch of cowards, they would not hide within women and children - believe me is no fun to find out you have killed a child, however, the enemy needs to show how really brave they are - they are just a bunch of whimps that hide behind them after finishing their operations.

I'm confused by the answers above mine, how does the Taliban and 9-11 justify the death of Iraqi children?

If the North Koreans attacked France, would it be fair if they attacked the U.S.?

Iraq had nothing to do with either 9-11 or the Taliban, and even the Bush administration had acknowledged this.

As to the statement itself, without the context, I can't really have an opinion.

    I agree with it.
So many innocent people die in wars every day and they don't get a mention, only the "brave" soliders (foolish rather than brave).
