How do I get a marriage certificate at age 13?

My dad will not let me get one, but me and my gf are in luv! long story short, we've been together now for almost 6 months and we are ready to get married. Help! do we just go to a city court or city hall?

You wait until you are 18 is what you do. I can guarantee that you and your girlfriend won't even be together then. If you are then you can get married. You can't legally get married until you are age 16 and even then you still need your parent's consent.

Fraud is the only way. Even with parents' permission it is not allowed in any state. Most states allow you to do it at age 16 with parents permission.

very impossible at that age, you need reach the maturity and the age of consent at 18. You cannot survive on your parents allowances and a lack of school. Also, have you talked to her parents.

You turn in you certificate (you can get one at any court house, it's usually $50), wait 5 years for processing, then marry her.

Or you can just wait 5 years. If you are actually together in 5 years I will personally come down and pay the $50 and marry you myself.

Dude I'm really not trying to be mean but get a grip. You've only been going out for 6months and your too young to get marriage permit. You'll just have to waite unit your parents sign the permit when your 16 that or you can waite until your 18 and forget the stupid permit.

Tough luck kiddo. There is nowhere in this country that will allow you to get married at that age. You are both babies. I mean most states will only allow parental consent at 16. You can't even get a job at your age.

At age thirteen your not ready to get married and you cant because its illegal, you'll have to wait. And also people change the most between the ages of 18 and 26, so you might want to marry her now, but you too can both change so much by the time your 18, you might now want to even be together. But if you feel like your ready now, you can at least get her a promise ring. And I dont mean a purity ring, promise ring meaning you promise to be monogamous, you promise to only love her, promise to marry her and anything else you might want to promise her, they are like vows only not as binding.

You are WAY to young to get married. You aren't old enough to understand love, and it's illegal. Just wait another 5 years, but, things can change over time.
