IMPRESSIONIST painters, composers and authors: can you correlate one from each to that of the other two?

I'm very much aware that few if any will care to respond to my question. Nevertheless, I'm willing to risk there not being any responses. For any interested, Wikipedia was my principal reference source(and I apologize for any misspellings):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressioni…

The "specifics" of my question:

Can you correlate relative to your individual "taste"(what else could it be?), any three members of the below given three categories of painters, composers and authors with each other, in terms of any set of three evoking similar feelings or moods?

Example: Claude Monet/Claude Debussy/Charles Baudelaire.

Should you choose to respond, please, no "quibbling" regarding my choices and absolutely NO SUBSTITUTES: if you don wish to follow my guidelines, then please don't respond((and it would very nice, if you could post any links(of paintings, musical selections, poems/novels, etc)).

Painters:

Claude Monet
Camille Pissarro
Pierre-Auguste Renoir
Edgar Degas
Paul Cezanne
--------------------------------------…

Composers:

Claude Debussy
Maurice Ravel
Erik Satie
Ottorino Respighi
Frederick Delius
--------------------------------------…
Authors:

Charles Baudelaire
Virginia Wolf
Joseph Conrad
Stephanie Mallarme
Paul Verlaine

I realize that some of the above are controversial regarding inclusion within an "Impressionist" context; but again, please, no quibbling.

Thanks to you all for your responses.

Much appreciate your time and effort - know that such a question is more demanding than most.

A really difficult choice to choose a best one.

Hi Alberich,

An interesting question, to be sure!

Well, my Impressionist threesome consists of Monet, Delius and Wolff, all bound by the fact that they each suffered from severe depression.

I've chosen what I believe to be some of the darkest examples of their art:

Monet: "Madame Monet and her Son" (I don't know why this makes me feel so bleak - maybe it's the dark umbrella on a fine day...)

http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Madame-Mon…

Delius: "Brigg Fair" (I've always found this to be a depressing piece of music - purely subjective opinion, of course.)

Wolff: "To the Lighthouse" - easily her most gloomy novel, in my eyes - the main character's weird hyper-sensitive nature and the way it destroys hopes and dreams is profoundly depressing...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh dear - now I feel really glum...right, I'm definitely dragging out my Monty Python DVDs tonight - though come to think of it, John Cleese also suffers from severe depression...
Asker's Comment:
After very careful viewing(and re-viewing), I felt that the mood, "spirit" of your three choices, were somewhat more similar to each other, than that of the other responders.
And sorry, that the end result of your efforts was depressing for you.
