Conservative Republicans are great at TALKING about "marriage of 1 man to 1 woman" and family values, but how cheap the talk !
Ronald Reagan – divorced the mother of two of his children to marry Nancy Reagan who bore him a daughter only 7 months after the marriage.
Gerald Ford – married to Betty (a divorcee).
Sen. John McCain of Arizona – divorced.
Sen. Bob Dole – divorced the mother of his child, who had nursed him through the long recovery from his war wounds.

Newt Gingrich should not be allowed NEAR the White House nor either the Senate or Congress, but not just because he was (and probably still is) an adulterer. What many of you may not remember is that Gingrich had to step down as Speaker of the House and had to pay a fine of $300,000 for lying in sworn testimony and violating tax laws. He shut down the government during Bill Clinton's presidency simply because he was angry about which door he got to enter on Air Force One. He created the "vast right-wing conspiracy" of which Hillary Clinton spoke, in part to steer attention away from his ethics violations as Speaker, by hooking up with, first, the Conservative think tank, Heritage Foundation and its founder (creator of the "Moral Majority") Paul Weyrich, and then the anti-abortion fundamentalists and right-wing media mogul Rupert Murdoch (who happened to own TV Guide), basically declaring war on Democrats. According to Flynt (2004), "He [Newt Gingrich] often said that tax cuts were a way to 'defund the left' and to 'starve the beast' of government. But his greatest weapon was the total smear. He ran his own training program for right-wing hypocrites, urging Republican candidates and pundits to use 'contrast words' to describe anyone who disagreed with them, words like 'decay, failure, shallow, traitors, pathetic, corrupt, incompetent, sick... He knew that conservatism...thrives only when it has an enemy, so he declared all-out war on the Democratic Party. It was not enough to oppose them, they had to be destroyed" (pp. 102-103). He began his propaganda campaign against more than half of the American population by labeling all Democrats as negatives: "sick", "grotesque", "loony", "traitors", "corrupt", or "anti-family". This is NOT a man with sound judgement, patriotism, or the stability that is needed in a president of the UNITED States of America. As to the adultery, if you read Larry Flynt's book (cited below), you'll learn he delivered divorce papers to his first wife while she was hospitalized with cancer, and he cheated on his second wife Marianne, the whole time attacking Bill Clinton and preaching "family values"...what a HYPOCRIT!
