What is the best short story by Flannery O'Connor and why? (I've read them, but would like other opinions?

I agree with Sethe, and the title is "A Good Man is Hard to Find." Funny, frightening, and truly profound. But I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from reading "Good Country People" or "The River" either.

In school, we read one concerning The Misfit (forgive me, but I can't exactly remember its title) in which, an entire family is killed. I liked that one, for the sudden ending that told so much volume... like a wild crescendo...
