Have you ever read one of their books or poems?
Have you ever admired one of their paintings?
Have you ever admired their noble causes?

Sexual orientation is not a choice, but EVEN IF it were, so what? How could it possibly minimize the accomplishments of these people and so many more who have given so much to the world, and to so many who still do today?

I am not gay and I am happy to share the world with everyone who is.

Alexander's Noble causes? Are we certain that Socrates was a real person, likely but no certain? Frankly, I could do without Eleanor Roosevelt's, Rock Hudson's, and James Dean's contributions. That said, your point is perfectly sound.

Think of what Spain lost when the forced the exodus of their Jewish population. We need everyone contributions, yes even old wind bags like Eleanor. More, freedom must mean everyone, it doesn't work any other way.

Okay Julius Caesar was a war god and war gods aren't gay.

Also I highly doubt Leon Vinci was a flamer. Sure he cut off his ear and painted pictures his whole life but that doesn't mean he plugs guys.
