What does yahoo! mean when they ask me the following?

i keep getting the same message when i open my yahoo! mail:

Hi Diane, you're one step away...
Yahoo is changing the way you can recover your account in case you forget your password. You must provide the following information in order to use your Yahoo! account.

it goes on to ask for an email address where they can send password reset info. how many email addresses am i supposed to have? i only have the one yahoo! account. i'm not about to give my work email address.

any suggestions? has anyone else gotten this message? what did you do?

1.You responded - so that got your phone number, this is one way to get your number

and it wasnt even YOUR account
It is some other account that you dont even know about.

3 r.yahoo.com - that is just a redirect to a "pretty good page that looks like Yahoo"

seeking further: this page had
5 different options with the result "help" underneath
