How long should my study breaks be?

I'm studying for exams today... right now actually. I've been studying since about 11:45am and will probably finish at about 8 pm. I need a break for dinner, but besides that what breaks should I take? I heard if you don't take breaks, the information doesn't cling or something? So when and how long? Thanks!

45 min study periods and 10 min breaks - proven to be the best times for the human mind.

10 minutes every 45 minutes

Half hour every 2 hours.

I do 30 minute sessions with 10 minute breaks.

I would take a 5 minute break at each hour. During your break don't do something like watching tv because that stimulates your brain and you will find it harder to concentrate after your break.
