To be free and to live without fear, you need to understand the basic of life. Every person born on this earth would die some day. This is an eternal Truth. There is nothing that could happen beyond death. If you realise this, you have crossed half the way. The rest of the things that you need to understand is : There is a root cause for every thing that happens, be it good or bad. If you are able to identify and understand the Root, you will not have fear on anything bad that could happen. And you will neither be too excited about anything good that would happen. You will have a balanced life. These 2 things are not that easy to get implemented in life, as it requires lot of devotion and self control to get implemented to a human mind. If you succeed in it, you have succeeded in achieving what you want to practice.

Well fear is a natural human emotion so no one is ever going to be completely fearless. The way to relieve anxiety in my opinion is to step back from situations and look at them from a different rational perspective.
Take speaking in public, most people's number 1 fear, even greater than death, ironically. How many speeches have you been to? Graduations, theater plays, eulogies, toasts, sermons, take all of them. How many do you honestly remember from the past year? past 6 months? not many, so rationally you can say to yourself that unless you do an outstanding job, or a truly terrible one, like vomiting on yourself, or unleashing a line of foul language, something really, really unexpected or out of the ordinary, most people will forget in a few months. So it's really not that terrifying when you remember that people are not going to judge your every word or remember every detail of your speech.
Flying is another good example, certainly there's an element of danger, but only 1/10,000 (not an exact figure) that of getting into a car. Stepping back from a fear perspective we realize that flying is no greater risk, than a dozen other activities we do everyday.

Many people, including myself, are free and don't live in fear. If a nation or society ensures 'freedom,' rules or 'laws' would be innovated to 'limit' that freedom to ensure people safe and that society remains in order. However, if someone DOES live in fear, it's out of a personal level. For instance, if I lived in a bad neighborhood with no money to move to a safer place, I could fear that I could be killed in this very neighborhood, despite having my personal freedoms. Therefore, to kill this fear, I have to realize that I'm probably over-exaggerating and wouldn't be killed at all, or I'd have to make more money and move out. When I move out the bad neighborhood, my fear would be dead, and my freedom, as always, still lives.

Blessings, Live a honest life, love the Lord with all of your heart, believe Him and trust Him in all your ways . Pray and never stop praying, Read your Bible daily and fellowship with other believers who have faith in the God you believe in, Find Bible verses that will keep you encourage, especially those that tell us that the Lord do not want us to live a fearful life, concentrate on the Lord day and night. And give Him thanks for every thing, here is a good Scripture that will keep any one pretty calm.....will stay true to the truth, even when it stings.
Lord, help me to always remember I’m nothing more than Your work in progress.

I will stay strong and not fear.
Psalm 56:11 “In God I have put my trust. I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. David summed it up pretty well, though, I think:

There are great places throughout the Bible that speak of courage and the need to trust in God in the face of fear. Free can be use as a motivator. We first ask our self why are we fearful of one thing or another. "Tell yourself positive things such as I can over come this and not cage myself in a false evidence that appears real. Use that energy toward the good in you. face it straight up.
Talking it front of a large group is fearful to me. I stay quite for a min. to ask what is this that I'm afraid of. Then i realize that it has just paralyzed me and i have to move forward. I start with honesty. How this is making me feel. and go from there to the subject at hand. I love to face fear in the face. Its what you make of it.

Be out side don't live your life in your house. Takes risks, when you want some thing (unless it is illegal) go and get it. Even if you make mistakes and mess ups this might be your only life so use it. If you have a serious fear such as a phobia go to a hypnotherapist. They can help you get rid of things such as that.

True freedom and lack of fear are not based on income, the economy, residence, self-reliance, government, etc. Everything in this life can and will be shaken; that's why it's unwise to put complete trust in people, man-made foundations, money, and things.

It's possible to have it all, and still be bound by habits. It's possible to be physically free, but live in fear of tomorrow's financial or other security.

The only true freedom inside and out, temporal and eternal, is when one puts his/her trust in, and has an ongoing relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there's liberty. God is Love and His love drives out fear. A obedient believer in Jesus does not live in fear of bad news, but is quiet from fear of evil.

This about NOT religion, but a relationship. If you don't have this, be free from within by trusting in the Lord. Pray the following:

"Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Jesus, thank You that You died for me so I would have eternal life. I believe that You are the Son of God who rose from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. I'll live for you. Thank you, Lord for saving me. Amen."

If you sincerely meant what you prayed, Congratulations and welcome to the family of God! Keep the relationship going by:
o Talking to God everyday about everything. Ask for His help in the name of Jesus Christ
o Reading, meditating, and applying His Word daily from the Bible to your life. Start with St. John from an easy-to-read version.
o Making friends at a local Bible-teaching, Holy Spirit-led church, for encouragement.
o Telling others how Jesus Christ makes you free.

The first thing we must do to be free from our stress and our worry is to come unto Jesus. Without Him, our life has no real purpose or depth. We simply run from one activity to another, seeking to fill our lives with purpose, peace, and happiness. "All man's efforts are for his mouth, yet his appetite is never satisfied." (Ecc. 6:7). Things haven't changed much since the days of King Solomon. We work ourselves to the bone for the things we desire, only to crave more.

If we do not know our real purpose in life; our reason for existing, life is very meaningless indeed. Yet, God created each of us with a special purpose in mind. There is something that needs to be done on this earth that can only be done by you. Much of the stress that we carry springs from the fact that we don't know who we are or where we are going. Even Christians who know that ultimately they are going to heaven when they die, are still anxious in this lifetime because they do not really know who they are in Christ and who Christ is in them. No matter who we are, we are bound to have tribulation in this life. It is unavoidable, but having trouble in this life is not the issue anyway. The real issue is how we react to it. That is where stress is born. The trials we face in this world will either break us or make us strong.

"I will show you who he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them in to practice. He is like a man building a house who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came the torrents struck that house but could not shake it because it was well built." Luke 6:48. Jesus didn't say that once we built our house on the rock that everything would be perfect. No, He said that a flood came in torrents smashing against the house. The key is that the house was built on the rock of Jesus, and the rock of putting His words into practice. Is your house built on Jesus? Did you dig your foundation deep into Him, or was the house hastily erected? Is your salvation based on a prayer you prayed once or is it growing out of a committed relationship to Him? Do you come to Him every day, every hour? Are you putting His words into practice in your life, or do they lie there like dormant seed?

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-2

Until you have fully committed yourself to God, until your foundation is dug deep into Him, you will never be able to discern what His perfect will is for your life. When the storms of life come, as they are bound to do, you will only worry and fret and walk around with an ache in your back. Who we are under pressure reveals who we really are. The storms of life wash away the thin veneer that we present to the world and expose what lies in our heart. God, in His mercy, allows the storms to hit us so we will turn to Him and be cleansed of the sin that we were never able to perceive in times of ease. We can either turn to Him and receive a soft heart in the midst of all our trials, or we can turn away and harden our heart. The hard times in life will either make us pliable and merciful, full of faith in God, or angry and brittle, full of doubt and unbelief.

fears are perception of our mind towards any situation that brings butterflies in our tummy. do not surrender your feeling of fear, just confront your fear, that is the only way to get rid of any fear.

Freedom can be achieved through recognizing limits.
Fear does not last whenever there is love.
