How should i do my hair for my eighth grade formal?

so, i have my eighth grade formal on saturday. and i'm clueless about my hairstyle. everyone is getting theirs professionally done, but c'mon now, it's just eighth grade? hello! well anyway, i don't know how to do my hair, its naturally curly, and dark brown. its not pretty curly though. i don't like it like that. i always straighten it. so i need some help. so just give me some hairstyle ideas. ones with pictures will get best answer! thanks for the help :D

You're smart.
Any girl who's gonna get it professionally done for 8th grade is retarded.
I think you should straighten your hair and put it half up.
then for the hair that's left you should do some really pretty curls.

simple. here's step by step instructions

1. Put your hair (be it straight or curly) in a low pony
2.Take a large clip and clip it to the back of you head, allowing it to cascade down.

Voila a formal look that's relly easy!

i cant find a picture of it but its a hairstyle really easy to do . I did it just recently for my 8th grade promo . I just curled the top layers and straoghtened the bottom . It ended up really cute . I cant find a pic of it though ,
