That's a very difficult question to answer, especially because Ginsberg's work is so multifaceted. Many consider this poem a sort of love song to America, though that would be a very basic surface-level interpretation of the poem. To say "what is the meaning of a poem" implies that there is only one meaning to any given poem. Rather, there are literally dozens of different ways to interpret any poem you come across.
