List of Women's Studies Literature?

First, does it sadden anyone else how many of these questions are unrelated to the topic?

Can I get a suggestion of some good books in Women's Studies? I'm currently reading The Feminine Mystique and have a few things by Adrienne Rich.

Actually, I like my long hair and shaved legs and my husband. But, thanks for asking.

A husband is a man who marries a woman, also called a wife--something you'll never have.

Do you have the Norton Anthology of Literature by Women?

That's actually a very large category of literature. Are you interested in theory? Philosophy? Feminist influences in literature? Which wave of literature interests you?

Off the top of my head:
A Room of One's Own, Virginia Woolf
The Yellow Wallpaper, Charlotte Perkins Gilman
The Left Hand of Darkness, Ursula K. LeGuin

Octavia Butler wrote a series about aliens that was pretty cool. Can't remember the names of the books.

The Second Sex, Simone de Beauvoir
    Frankenstein, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley
A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, Mary Wollstonecraft

Or you could read some Dorothy Parker, just because she is awesome:
By the time you swear you're his,
    Shivering and sighing,
And he vows his passion is
    Infinite, undying -
Lady, make a note of this:
    One of you is lying.

Pretty much any literature can be analyzed from a feminist perspective, including the Holy Bible.

i don't have any women's studies literature but i personally find it really interesting to read books written by women who used a nom de plume. so many classics like frankenstein and wuthering heights were written by women under men's names. so although this doesn't answer your question at all i thought you might find it interesting to read up on these women who were feminists leading double lives.
